Stop Waiting for the "Right Moment"

It doesn't exist. Decide on today, and trust in tomorrow.

Inspired by a love for writing and an immense amount of thoughts, I have wanted to start a blog for many years. Held back by indecisiveness, overthinking, and a desire for perfection, I have taken many years to actually start a blog. All it took was finally accepting the fact that the "right moment" simply doesn't exist – not for anything.

This realization is one that I have struggled, and continue to struggle, to keep top of mind. I felt lost when I graduated from college, unsure of what my next step should be. I placed an overwhelming sense of pressure on myself, believing that the next decision would practically define the rest of my life – there would be no career changes. It was now or never. Eight months passed when I finally accepted a job offer at a digital marketing agency. I've been there almost a year now, and I love it. Though I can't promise it's where I'll always be, I'm happy now, and that's what matters to me.

You have to live for today – make decisions based on the present. Though it's important to consider the future, we're not promised tomorrow, so don't overthink it and don't wait. When you're hesitating, remember: each decision you make will lead you to exactly where you are meant to be when you are meant to be there.
